Do I need to register?
In order to benefit most from our services and rewards you need to register with our website. Registration is FREE and won't take any longer than 20 seconds! You would only be providing the same details as you would to a takeaway restaurant.
Please rest assured that we do not use or share your information with any third party company without your authorisation.
When do I register?
You can either register before placing your order or after you have added your meal to the basket.
How do I register?
Registration is simple and quick. On our home page click on "Register" tab and fill in the required fields marked with "*". Please read and agree with the Terms and Conditions, then click on "Register" button. Finally, provide your mobile number so that restaurants could contact you for both Delivery and Collection orders and click on the "Finish" button. Congratulations, you are now registered and ready to place your order ;)
I don't have an e-mail address, what do I do?
You do not have to have an e-mail address in order to be able to place your order on our website. However, we send all the updates in regards to your order in addition to our latest offers and promotions via e-mail. If you would like to be informed when new restaurants are added in your area, provide your email address. You can always add your e-mail address after registration as well.
I don't have a mobile number, what can I do?
restaurants may need to contact you to confirm your order or to find your address. Therefore, you are required to provide your contact number. Alternatively, you can provide a landline number.
Can I use a landline number instead of mobile?
Yes you can. However, we recommend using a mobile number as we would be sending promotional text messages with the latest offers from your local takeaways from time to time and we would like you make the most of it.
What is the "Refferal Code"?
You can find your"Refferal Code" inside your account under "My Profile" section. You can give your "Refferal Code" to your friends and family. Once they register with your "Refferal Code" and place their first order, you will both receive 50 points from us as a way of appreciation.
Someone has given me a "Refferal Code", what do I do with it?
Congratulations, you must be thanking the person who gave you their "Refferal Code". Now when you "Register" and place your first order, you will receive 50 points in addition to the points you receive from your order.
What are the password criteria?
The password must be minimum of four characters and can be a mixture of digits or letters.
I am trying to register, but it tells me that the "Email is already registered"?
Please check first to ensure that you have entered your e-mail address correctly. If your e-mail address is correct then this could mean that you already have an account with us and if you don't remember your password you can use our "Password Reminder" facility and you will receive your password via e-mail.

Please check first to ensure that you have entered your mobile number correctly. If your mobile number is correct then this could mean that you already have an account with us and if you don't remember your password you can use our "Password Reminder" facility and you will receive your password via text message.
My post code is not registered in your database; can I enter my address manually?
Yes you can enter your address manually if our auto address finder can't locate your address.
I live in a newly built state and your website can't find my post code, what can I do?
You can still enter your address manually and create your account.
I have already registered, how do I login?
You can login by entering your Email/Mobile and Password in the home page via "Login" tab on the top right hand corner of the website. Alternatively, you can add your meal to the basket and login afterwards.
I can't remember my password?
Simply click on "Forgot my password" and you can then have your password sent either to your registered e-mail or mobile phone.
How do I place an order with Meal2Go?

Find your local takeaway by entering your Postcode
You will then see the list of all the restaurants who would deliver to your postcode.
Select between Delivery and Collection options, If you would like the food to be delivered to your address please select Delivery to view the delivery menu. If you would like to personally collect the food from your local takeaway select the Collection to view the collection menu.

Once the interactive menu appears:
- You can select the menu categories on the left hand side
- The items will then be displayed in the middle of the page
- Select your favourite item(s)
- By hovering over the price you will be given the option to "Add" or "Customise" the item
- "Add" button will add the selected item to the basket
- "Customise" button will allow you to fully customise and modify the selected item before adding it to the basket.
- Once you have customised your item, if you have any special requirements or cooking instructions you can write it in the "Cooking Instruction" box and then click on "Add to basket" button to add the item to the basket.
- You can always customise your items in the basket after adding them as well
- You may delete any unwanted item by clicking on the "Bin Logo" and this will remove the item from the basket
- All the special offers and meal deals can be found under the "Meal Deal" category on the top left hand corner of the menu
- If you can't find the item you are looking for, try our "Search Menu" option
- Use the "Comment Box" for any extra comments such as delivery instruction
- Once you finished adding the items to the basket and customising them, click on "Order Now" button to place your order.

Finally confirm your order
If you require to make any amendments, click on "Edit Order" to go back to the menu page
- Please check your E-mail Address and Mobile Number to ensure their correctness
- Please check that your Delivery Address and Billing Address are correct to avoid any delays with your order. (If the Billing address is not correct your card payment may get declined)
- If you have earned any points, you may use them here to get a discount on your online order from Meal2Go. Simply click on "Use Points" and enter the number of points that you would like to use, then click on "Check" and then click on "Redeem Points".
- If you have been given a voucher, you may use it here to get a discount on your online order from Meal2Go. Simply click on "Use Voucher" and enter the voucher code that you would like to use then click on "Check" and then click on "Redeem Voucher".
- You can then select to place your order to be delivered as soon as possible or select "Order for later" and choose the "Delivery Time".
- Finally choose to pay by card online (a service charge applies) or by cash on delivery or collection.

You can monitor the live order progress from inside your account.
How do I find restaurants that deliver?
Place your postcode on our search bar and you will then see the list of the restaurants who would deliver to your address.
How do I find restaurants by cuisine?
After you have searched for the restaurants by postcode, you can now select what you fancy from the drop down list on the top left hand corner of the page.
How do I find a particular dish or menu item?
Once you have selected from Delivery or Collection menu, enter the name of the dish you are looking for in the "Search Menu" text box.
What if I can't find any restaurants in my area?
Sorry if we do not yet cover your area. We are just starting our UK expansion program, and aim to get a few 1000 more restaurants in 2010. If you have a particular favourite, you can recommend them, or even introduce your favourite restaurants!
What do the icons mean?
Light Green Delivery/Collection: restaurant is currently closed, but you can place your order for a later time and date.
Dark Green Delivery/Collection: restaurant is currently open and accepts online orders.
Grey Delivery/Collection: Service is currently not available.
Burgundy Delivery/Collection: restaurant is closed and you may not place an order for a later time/date at this time.
I am worried about placing my order online. Can I order over the phone with Meal2Go?
The preferred method to place an order is to do it via our website directly. There is nothing to be afraid of, our website is secure and uses the latest technology to encrypt your information. We do not store your card details and you will be providing your card details to our payment handling company, Nochex. Nochex Ltd is certified as a Small Electronic Money Issuer by the Financial Services Authority and regulated as a Money Service Business by HM Revenue and Customs.
Can I order from more than one restaurant at the time?
If you would like to order from more than one restaurant you need to place your order for each restaurant separately.
How do I remove items from my order?
Click on the "Bin Icon" inside the basket next to the item which you want to remove.
Alternatively, you may clear your basket by clicking on the "Empty logo" inside the basket.
What if I'm not ready to submit my order just yet?
You can use the "Save order" button when creating an order. This will save your current order in "My Orders" inside "My Account".
When you are ready to make some more changes or submit the order, in My Orders click the Load order icon:
You can continue to modify and save your order until you are ready to submit it to the restaurant.
A saved order will remain in your My Orders until it is deleted or submitted.
Can I place an order for a later time or date?
Yes, you can place an order by choosing an available time for collection or delivery later that same day (depending on the restaurants opening hours).
Orders can only be submitted for the current day/ later day up to 14 days.
I placed an order for a later date, what if I forgot the date/time of delivery? An e-mail/text message will be sent to you 24 hours in advance
How do I schedule a collection or delivery time?
During "Stage 3" of placing an order in the order confirmation page you can select to receive your order as soon as possible or to choose "Order for Later" option.
The available times are based on the opening hours of the restaurant, and the average time it takes for the restaurant to prepare and deliver an order. We also adjust the available times during busy periods or for larger orders.
You will see a warning message when there is only a short time left before the restaurant closes.
How do I change my address or contact details?
To change your contact details, you need to log in to your account, then click on "My Profile" and then you can change, add or remove any of your details.
Can I change my order after it has been placed?
You may change your order anytime before restaurants accept your order.
To change your order you would first need to Cancel your order.
Load the order from your "My Orders"
Make the desired changes and place your order again.
Can I cancel an order?
You may cancel your order before restaurants accept your order. Once your order has been sent to the restaurant, you can no longer cancel it through "My Orders" or the "Acknowledgment" email. You will need to call us immediately on 0121 236 6150 and if the restaurant has not yet started the order preparation we may be able to cancel your order.
How can I add extra items to my order?
If you would like to add an item to your existing order and you are paying by cash on delivery or collection, the easiest way is to contact us immediately and we will try to add the extra items to your order and notify the restaurant.
However, if you have already paid by card we would need to cancel that order and you need to re-order and make the payment again.
Obviously your first transaction will be refunded to you.
How do I know that Meal2Go has received my order?
You will receive a notification email with the subject "Order Acknowledgment", when we have received your order.
How do I know the restaurant has received my order?
You will receive an email with the subject "Order accepted", notifying you when the restaurant has received and accepted your order.
If you chose collection, then you should wait until you receive this email before making plans to collect your food.
If we were unable to contact the restaurant, or the restaurant is unable to accept your order for any reason, your order will be cancelled and you will be notified via email.
How do I pay for my order?
You can either pay by card online or by cash on delivery or collection.
If you're paying by cash, just pay the amount to the driver. The total amount is provided in your confirmation email, so this will be quick and easy, with no need to calculate and discuss the price at the door.
If you don't have any cash in hand, don't worry you can pay by debit or credit card online. If you choose to pay online, your card information is handled securely and not shared or stored in any ways. The transaction will be shown on your statement as a payment to Meal2Go.
Please note that restaurants do not accept cheque as a method of payment.
How do I contact a restaurant about my order?
Just because you have ordered from Meal2Go doesn't mean you're not able to contact the restaurant directly with any questions or concerns should you need to do so. We always provide the contact number of the restaurant you have ordered within the automated "Order Accepted" email we send you upon confirming your order.
If for any reason you are not able to reach the restaurant by telephone, don't forget you can always contact us, and our friendly customer service team will follow up on your behalf.
Can I cancel my order after it has been accepted?
Only if the restaurant haven't started preparing your food yet; simply call our customer hotline on 0121 236 6150 or use our Live Chat and we will cancel your order.
Once the order has been accepted, it is still possible to cancel and receive a full refund.
If you need to cancel the order because your plans have changed, call us right away and we let the restaurant know. This is because they will have probably already started cooking the food so they need to be informed of any cancellation as soon as possible. Well then cancel the order; if you have paid online, your payment will be refunded in full.
If theres a problem and you decide you would rather to cancel the order, contact Meal2Go immediately.
What if the food was not what I ordered?
If, for some reason, the food is delivered unexpectedly, just refuse the order at the door. If you accept the food, but then realise that theres a problem with the order and you cant eat it, contact the restaurant and ask them to collect the food or to replace the food. Once youve done so, just let us know and so we can verify it and cancel the order in our system. If youve paid in cash, you should receive your refund at the door. If you paid online, we would issue your refund once youve notified us of the cancellation.
We can only issue a full refund of an online payment if you dont accept your food, or if you have the restaurant to come and pick it up after youve received it. As long as you dont keep the food (or throw it in the bin), Meal2Go will always make sure your refund is issued right away.
How do I resolve a problem or complaint with an order?
If there are any issues with the food or service you have received, its usually best to contact the restaurant in the first instance. The contact number for the restaurant is always provided in the "Order Accepted" email we send you upon confirming your order.
If you are unable to resolve the issue with the restaurant, or if for any reason you are not able to phone the restaurant, don't hesitate to contact us. Our friendly customer service advisors are available every day between 10 am and 12 midnight, and were more than happy to do whatever we can to make sure everything with your order runs smoothly.
Note: for the "Review of the week" option, M2G offers the same advantages, but in spite of paying £25 reward, gives 100 bonus points!
What are 'points' about?
As a valued customer, Meal2Go rewards you with its pointing system. Every time you place an order online from your local takeaway you earn points. For every pound that you spend, you earn 1 point.
How much do the points worth?
Every 1 point has got a money value of 1 pence.
What can I do with my points?
There are few ways to spend your points. However, make sure you are aware of our Bronze, Silver and Gold schemes before spending your points.
